He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Sevy and Maggie Sevy (Tincher); his wife Geneva Sevy; his son-in-law Medford Caudill; and his siblings, Alvena Sims and Estal Sevy.

He is survived by: his children, Myrtis Krikau (Michael) of New Paris, IN, Vanessa West (Aaron) of Inverness, FL, Deven Sevy (Laura) of Bonita Springs, FL and Darren Sevy (Tammy) of Goshen; and his brother Owen Sevy (Linda) of Lexington, NC.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Kellum's name can be given to the New Testament Baptist Church.
