He was predeceased by: his father Walter Thomas. He is survived by: his mother Eleanor Thomas (Maslowski); his wife Lisa Halsey; his children, Kellsee Brewer (Aaron) and Derek Thomas; his granddaughter Ivy; and his siblings, Walter, Vanessa, Robert, Shirley, Cindy and Daniel.

Memorial contributions may be given to Cancer Resources of Elkhart County.
