He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare Dills and Iris Dills (Hershberger); his wife Nancy Jo Null; and his siblings, John, Sr., Richard, William Dills, Carol Moles, Janet Dills and Kitty Fink.
He is survived by: his children, James D. Dills of Goshen, Sandra Ann Dills of Goshen and Debra D. Hurt (Benjamin) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Nicole Calderon (Efren), James M. Dills (Tabitha), Elizabeth Gose (Travis) and Erin Mikel; and his sisters, Betty Dirck (Donald) of Goshen, Bonnie Null (Robert) of Goshen, Joy Moles of Goshen, Mary Miller of Elkhart and Anna Falconi (Robert) of Maryland. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
