He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Bickel and Barbara Jean Bickel (Morgan); and his sister Susan Snider. He is survived by: his children, Joshua Bickel (Annie) and Kristine Nowatzke; his son-in-law William Nowatzke; his grandchildren, Maleah Bickel, William Kraig Nowatzke, Adam Michael Earl Nowatzke and Kati Ann Riebold; his great grandchildren, Elliott, William Jaxon and Peyton Ann; his sister Nancy Conant (Roger); and his sidekick Peanut.
