Merritt Gardner Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merritt Gardner of Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merritt Gardner to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Gardner and Katharine Gardner (Post); and his sister Priscilla Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his children, Tim Gardner (Michelle Rago) of Bronxville, Jon Gardner (Anne) of Greenbelt, Maryland, Angela Gardner of Princeton, N. J., Christa Gardner (Dwayne Lawler) of Bentonville, Arkansas and Dan Gardner (Patrick Miller) of Atlanta; and his sister Frances Kelly. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren.

Recently, Merritt created visuals to accompany his recorded reading of numerous psalms, which have been used especially in Zoom worship services during the pandemic.
