It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mercedes Rodriguez of Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leida Torres Folguera and Jaime Folguera; her grandchildren, Steven Aaron Schwinn (Christina), Austin Schwinn (Regan Shorter), Abram Schwinn, Alania Chaffee (Chris), Carissa D'Amelio (Spencer), Kiara Mari (Nick), Jennifer Rodriguez, Nick Rodriguez (Rachel) and Jon Rodriguez; her great grandchildren, Milo Gay, Azaliea Schwinn, Madeleine Schwinn, Esmae D'Amelio, Pearce Chaffee, Enzo D'Amelio and Calvin Schwinn; and her brother Jose Jaime Folguera.
She is survived by: her husband Luis Arturo Rodriguez Vazquez of Adjuntas; and her close friend Linette Schwinn (Steven) of Goshen. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
The family requests in Lieu of flowers donations be made to St John the Evangelist for families in need.
