She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob S. Thiessen and Maria Thiessen (Zacharias); and her brothers, J. D. Thiessen and Ernie Thiessen. She is survived by: her husband Herman Hartzler; her sons, Stan Hartzler (Julie) and Ian Hartzler (Mayca); her grandchildren, Aimee Obeng (Richard), Olena Hartzler, Julia Perez (Wilson) and Mateo Hartzler; her siblings, Anne Toews, Cathy Epp, Susan Thiessen, Hank, David and Edward Thiessen; and also Diego.
