With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Stump of Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on January 25, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil V. and Mary E. Dowty (Bloss); her husband Alton Harley Stump; her daughter Teresa Heiman; and her siblings, Cherie Gall, Lois Hunsberger, Dean and Vernon Dowty.
She is survived by: her former husband Ralph J. Clawson; and her children, Cindy Meredith of Kalamazoo, Pamela Hamsher (Rick) of Goshen, Janet Bontrager (Keith) of Syracuse, Kirby Clawson (Christine) of Terra Haute and Mike Clawson (Lacey) of Tipp City, Ohio. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
