It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Akens of Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Plank and Gertrude Plank (Bush); her husband David L. Akens, Jr.; her son Tommy Hill; and her siblings, Nicholas Plank and Sue Plank.
She is survived by: her children, Tara Hinkley of Goshen, Tonia Blankenship (Wally) of Elkhart, Tony Hill (Tonya Berkey) of Goshen and Todd Hill (Sherry) of Goshen. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
