She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Torrance and Lucille Torrance (Duncan); her husband Ronald E. Nelson; and her brother Larry Torrance. She is survived by: her sons, Fredrick Nelson of Goshen and Scott Nelson (April) of Goshen. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be given to Goshen Moose Lodge #836 or Elkhart County Humane Society.
