Though Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, José Barboza and Crecenciana Barboza (Robles); her brother José Barboza; and her grandson Jeremy Gallegos. She is survived by: her children, Hector Gallegos (Cristina), Francisco Gallegos (Norma), Marco Antonio Gallegos (Lourdes), José Guadalupe Gallegos (Sofia), Martha Imelda Manzanares (José) and María (Meliton) of Jesús. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
