She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gildner and Bertha Gildner (Walter); her husband Donald VonKarowsky; her former husband J. Eugene Holdeman; and her granddaughter Andrea Ortiz.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Ortiz (Enrique) of Goshen, Deborah Reed (James) of Elkhart, William Holdeman (Marsha) of Goshen, Cynthia Coleman (Mark) of Naples, FL and Sandra Barden (Randall) of Nappanee; and her brother Raymond Gildner of Elkhart. She is also survived by grandchildren; 36 wonderful great-grandchildren; 4 lovely great-great-grandchildren.
