She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Swihart and Rosamond Swihart; her husband H. Paul Chalfant; her siblings, Alice Alvarez, Ruth Roig, Ray and Don Swihart; and her friend Laverle Larimer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Keck (Norman Redington) and Kathy Keck (Tim Peters); her stepchildren, Craig Chalfant (Sharon) and Marsha Chalfant; and her brother Roy Swihart (Carolyn). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home (1911 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Yoder-Culp Funeral Home (1911 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526).
