She was predeceased by: her parents, Secundino Alvarez and Maria Asuncion Ramirez; her husband Adislao Torres Fragozo; her children, Jose and Maria; and her sisters, Armina, Rafaela, Miteya and Yolanda Alvarez Ramirez.
She is survived by: her children, Alma Gonzalez (Miguel) of Mishawaka, Gabriela Torres Alvarez of Goshen, Patricia Torres Alvarez (Antonio Gonzalez) of Mishawaka, Juana Torres Alvarez (Alejandro Garcia) of Mishawaka, Oscar Torres Alvarez (Veronica) of South Bend, Jaime Torres Alvarez of Mexico and Ana Bertha Torres Alvarez (Mauro Otero) of South Bend; and her siblings, Victor Hugo, Lucia and Isaura Alvarez Ramirez. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home (1911 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526). A rosary was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (417 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526).
