He was predeceased by: his parents, Elam Hochstetler and Eliza Hochstetler (Bender); his wife Agnes Bontrager; his sons, Wilbur Hochstetler and Mark Sweeney; his sons-in-law, Mark Gingerich and Lowell Mast; his grandchildren, Jaran Martin and Andrew Yoder; and his siblings, Esther Herschberger, Rhoda Hochstetler, Samuel and Walter Hochstetler.
He is survived by: his children, Joanna Yoder (Oren) of Partridge, KS, Judy Martin (Willard) of Goshen, Elsie Schrock (Jason) of Halsey, OR, Mary Gingerich of Plain City, OH, Edwin Hochstetler of Goshen, Nathan Hochstetler (Jan) of Sioux Lookout, Ontario and John Hochstetler (Denise) of Middlebury; and his siblings, Miriam Graber of Goshen, Marietta Stoltzfus (Jon) of Goshen, Daniel Hochstetler of Goshen, Noah Hochstetler of Elkhart and Joseph Hochstetler of Minerva, OH.. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren.
