He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Freeland and Essie Freeland (LeCroy). He is survived by: his children, Amy Borum (James) of Goshen and Brian Freeland (Victoria) of Nappanee; his grandchildren, Brandon Reasonover (Amanda), Christopher Reasonover (Claryce), Courtney Johnson (Brian), Brody, Peyton Freeland, Brianna Leonard (Charlie) and Bryce Borum (Lexi); his sisters, Jean Bobo of Alabama, Gail Taylor (Lynn) of Alabama, Linda Smith of Alabama, Brenda Tate of Alabama and Carolyn Holland (Phil) of Alabama; and also, Ava, Jayda, Benjamin, Layla and Maverick.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Goshen Christian Church (2133 Berkey Ave, Goshen, IN 46526).
