She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alex Nifong and Freda Nifong; her husband Paul H. English; her daughters, Phyllis DeSmith (Doug) of Bristol, IN. and Susan Plaisted (Harry) of Arcadia, MO; her grandchildren, Lisa Howell (Jon) and Harry Plaisted; her great grandchildren, Jon, Kaitlyn, Paige and Harry IV; and her brother Alex Nifong. She was also cherished by her friends and family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
