He was predeceased by: his father Samuel L. Moyer. He is survived by: his mother Jean F. Moyer (Lehman) of Goshen; his wife Angela Knepp; his children, Melissa Affolder (Collin) of Berne, Joel Moyer (Chelsea) of Mishawaka, Christina Moyer of Goshen and Jacob Moyer of Goshen; and his siblings, Janet Waldusky (Bob) and Mark Moyer (Rachael) of Goshen.
The family is requesting that, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in John's honor be made out to Parkside Elementary School to be invested in the students whom John taught and loved.
