He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice A. Petgen and Kathryn V. Petgen (Leek). He is survived by: his spouse Sharon E. Weaver; his children, Michele Condon (Todd) of Jonestown, Carmen Sheaffer (Brad) of New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania and Ryan Petgen (Teresa) of Atwood; and his siblings, Mary Stringham (Paul) of Georgetown, Sarah Roeder of Goshen, Lydia Allman of LaGrange, David Petgen (Joan) of Elkhart and Paul Petgen (Sue) of Osceola. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
