We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2023, at the age of 90, John A. Lapp (Goshen, Indiana), born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Lapp and Edith Nyce Lapp; his wife Mary Alice Weber of Lititz, PA.; and his brother Samuel. He is survived by: his children, John F. Lapp (Sandra Shenk), Jennifer Lapp Lerch (Robert A.) and Jessica Lapp (Philip Hertzler); his grandchildren, Sophie Lapp Jost (David Jost), Sarah Lerch (Stefan Kuhns), Robert T. Lerch, Eva Lapp (Sam Smucker), John Ethan Lapp and James Nicholas Hertzler; his great grandchildren, Timothy Clement Lapp Jost and Morgan Amelia Lerch Kuhns; and his siblings, Mary Swartley, James, Daniel, Joseph, Sara Kolb, Ruth Lapp Guengerich and Rhoda Lapp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to College Mennonite Church, Mennonite Central Committee, Goshen College or Eastern Mennonite University.
