He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Ressler and Laurabelle Ressler (Dick); his stepmother Bonnie Ressler; his brother Stephen Ressler; and his brothers-in-law, Russell Steele and Rick Mealor.
He is survived by: his wife Rutha Rhodes of Goshen, IN; his children, Angela Weaver of Versailles, MO, Steven Yoder of Grifton, NC and Robert Ressler of Goshen, IN; his stepchildren, Laura Rose of Indianapolis, Sonya Rose of Elkhart, IN, Ann Connor of Goshen and LeRoy Rose of Elkhart; and his siblings, Judy Steele of Bremen, IN, Joyce Kiefer (Gary) of Bremen, Irene Moyer (Bill) of Elkhart, Doris Mealor of Hendrix, OK, Christine Ressler of Bristol, IN, Dawn Sheets (Bryan) of Nappanee and Dale, Jr. Ressler (Roberta) of Reno, NV. He is also survived by 11 step grandchildren; many step great-grandchildren.
