He was predeceased by: his father Norman Swinehart. He is survived by: his children, Jason Swinehart (Rachel) and Ilea Swinehart (Andrew Schroeder); the mother of his children Ilona Whiteman; his sons, Iyanna Smith and Troy Troyer of Goshen; his grandchildren, Isabelle Swinehart and Grayson Swinehart; his siblings, June Oakes (Michael) of Sand Coulee, MT and Ken Swinehart of Paris, MI; and also Shirley Barks (Richard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in his memory to the Michiana Aquarium Society in South Bend.
