He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur James Reed and Orla Perry, Sr. (Burch); his spouse Beverly C. Collingsworth; his children, Reed Perry (Janice) of Seymour, TN, Sue Huber (Glenn) of Elkhart, IN and Kathy Creekmore (Johnny) of Goshen, IN; and his siblings, Elmer Perry (Angie) of Dayton, KY, Bill Perry (Sherrie) of Alexandria, KY and Vera Stuck (Robert) of Cold Spring, KY. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
