He is survived by: his wife Letitia "Ann" McEwan; his children, Daniel Pernice, James Pernice (Paula), Christopher Pernice, Nicholas Pernice and Amanda Pernice Snyder (Michael); his adoptive daughter Rochelle Benveniste; his grandchildren, Reanna, Nicholas (Gabby), Makayla, Austin, Michael, Shayna, Paiton, Brittany, Alayna, Christopher and Leigha; and his great grandchild Iris Jean.
