Howard E. Bixler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard E. Bixler of Goshen, Indiana, born in Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on December 16, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Bixler and Dorothy Bixler (Schieber); his wife Iva "Pearl" Bixler (Walter); and his sister-in-law Wilma Jean Bixler. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Bixler (Joanne) of Oakland, Nebraska and Cathy Wenger (Lon) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Ryan Bixler of Oakland, Tracey Tonkinson (Travis) of Malcolm, Carrie Hilty (Andrew) of Fort Wayne and Kyle Wenger of Syracuse; his great grandchildren, Malachi, Esther Hilty, Miles and Owen Tonkinson; and his siblings, Donald Bixler of Goshen, Virginia Hartsough (Larry) of Goshen and Ruth Barber (Wayne) of Elkhart. He is also survived by his many dog friends.
Memorial donations may be given to West Goshen Church of the Brethren.
