He was predeceased by: his parents, George Taft and Hazel Taft (Hendrickson); his former wife Maradee Taft (Biddle); and his wife Sarah Albaugh Taft (Ostrander). He is survived by: his children, Laura Hamm (Don) of Shipshewana, Lisa Taft of Goshen, Steven Taft (Katherine) of Goshen and Robert Taft of Fort Wayne; and his siblings, Judith Minnick (Paul) of Deland, Florida and Jerry Taft of Goshen. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three step-children.
