He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward and Bertha Marner (Beachy); and his brothers, George Ervin Marner and Claude Allen Marner. He is survived by: his former wife Linda May Tressler; and his siblings, Perry Marner (Victoria) of Edwardsburg, MI, Raymond Marner (Gail) of Middlebury and Marjorie Gingerich of Howe.

Memorials may be given to the Wounded Warriors, Salvation Army, or Riley Children's Hospital.
