He is survived by: his wife Carmen Avalos of Alba; his children, Jesus Alba (Rebecca), Eugenia (Pablo), Ludivina Alba, Rosa Alba, Beatriz Gonzalez (Angel) and Gonzalo Alba; and his brother Enrique Alba. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
