It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertie Mae Schwartz of Goshen, Indiana, born in Shipshewana, Indiana, who passed away on March 5, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David J. Kaufman and Mary Ann Kaufman (Weirich); her husband Amos L. Schwartz; her great grandchild Lyndon Jay Schwartz; and her siblings, Amos, Daniel, Eli, Joe Kaufman, Sovilla Helmuth, Alpha Whetstone and Elizabeth Kaufman.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Schwartz (Yvonne) of Wolcottville and David Schwartz (Mary Lou) of Goshen. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
