He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Truman Hambrice and Constance Hambrice (Vincellette); his wife Gaye; his children, Lon Hambrice (Sheila) of Lebanon, Genean Hess (Kyle) and Shayn Hambrice (Courtney) of Longview, Texas; his grandchildren, Eli, Joel, Vincellette, Brayleigh and Hudson; and his siblings, Sherry Miquet (Carl) of Slidell and Scott Hambrice of Mississippi. He was also cherished by his children, his grandchildren and his dogs.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Elkhart County.
