He was predeceased by: his parents, Greene Vaughn and Myrtle Vaughn (Kirby); and his daughter-in-law Cindy Vaughn (Adkins). He is survived by: his wife Anna Louise Akers; his children, Sandra Parson (Michael) of Bristol, Franklin "Lance" Vaughn of Goshen, Patricia LeCroy (Doyle) of Louisiana and Timothy Vaughn (Iryna) of Middlebury; his grandchildren, Kelly Brandenburg (Rick), Mike (Amber), Jason (Jennifer), Matthew, Rebecca Parson, Franklin "Dylan" Vaughn, Kayla Green (Corey), Anna, Daniel Vaughn, Travis (Illana), Justin, Tyler Walsh and Megan Lush (Dustin); and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Abby, Ben, Carter Poff, Nathan, Hailey Parson, Samantha, Katie Parson, Emma, Liam Walsh and Conner Green. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given to Transitions Hospice in Fort Wayne.
