Esther J. Bontrager Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther J. Bontrager of Goshen, Indiana, born in Yoder, Kansas, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel "Danny" Yoder and Elizabeth "Lizbet" Yoder (Yoder); and her siblings, Freda Martin and Omer Yoder. She is survived by: her spouse Devon "Slugger" J. Bontrager; her children, Debra Bobeck (Doug) of Millersburg and Donald Bontrager (Cindy) of Goshen; her grandchildren, Ashley Wible (Evan), Camden Bontrager (Bailey Showalter), Jade Mattson (Mitchell), Morgan Stutzman (Dustin), Shelby Bontrager and MacKenzie Bontrager (Connor); and her siblings, Nadine Brewster of Port St, Andrew Yoder of Mission and Merle Yoder (Mary) of Millersburg. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to the Scholarship Fund at Fairfield Community Schools.
