He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Troyer and Ada Troyer (Bontrager); and his wife Deborah Sue Swihart. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Troyer (Candy) of Millersburg and Kim Rink (Aaron) of Goshen; his grandchildren, Leah and Addison Rink; his stepgrandson Matthew Holland; and his siblings, Lloyd Troyer of Middlebury, Verton Troyer (Amy) of Warsaw, Mervin Troyer of Goshen and Dorothy Stutzman (Joe).
Memorial donations may be given to Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.
