She was predeceased by: her parents, C. J. Gunden and Agnes Gunden (Albrecht); her husband Carl M. Metzler; and her siblings, Elva (Wilber), Lois (Ernest), Orville (Ann), Cleland (Myra), Elton (Marjorie), Ralph (Opal), Donald (Elsie) and Ruth.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Metzler of Goshen, IN, Robert (Cathy) of Marietta, GA and Linda Metzler (Chris Gill) of Berrien Springs, MI.; her grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica), Sara (Rich), Martina (John) and Joshua (Erin); and her great grandchildren, John, Theodore and Sophia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Alta & A. J. Metzler Meeting House (1225 Greencroft Dr, Goshen, IN 46526). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
