She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Ganger and Hattie Ganger (Pattison); her husband Roe L. Richards; and her sister Patsy. She is survived by: her daughters, Candy Smith of Richmond, Kelly Yoder (Andrew) of Elkhart and Jody Richards (Andrew Allison) of Richmond, Virginia. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be directed to American Childhood Cancer Organization.
