It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Lee Schmidt of Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Harold Schmidt; his brother Mike Schmidt; his cousin Annette Humes; and his aunt Winnie Lovely. He is survived by: his mother Mary Schmidt of Goshen, IN; his sister Kim Newman (Charles) of Goshen, IN; his cousins, Ronnie Cook (Lori), Jack Cook (Tammy), Jim Cook, Louann King (Joshua), Linda Perry (Curtis) and Marilyn Hemminger; and his aunts, Ruby Cook and Phyllis Johnson. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home (1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46514). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home (1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46514). A burial was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 12:15 PM.
