He is survived by: his wife Karen Laidig; his children, Kris Shenk (Jon), Amy Biedenbach (Brian) and Todd Sommers (Gretchen); and his siblings, Wayne Arlee Sommers (Julia) of Albuquerque, NM, Dallas Sommers (Susan) of New Stanton, PA, Lorraine Reinford (Glenn) and Fern Delagrange (Dale) of Spencerville, IN.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
