With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Maurer of Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on May 31, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Carolyn Sue departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carolyn Sue may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carolyn Sue leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her mother Marian E. Maurer (Shock). She is survived by: her father DeVon B. Maurer; her brother Mark "Tom" Maurer (Kathryn); and her nephew Mark "Tony" Maurer (Debbie). She is also survived by 8 great-nieces & nephews and 5 great-great-nieces & nephews.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
