She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Covington and Winnie Covington (Melancon). She is survived by: her husband Dan; her children, Matthew Oplinger (Lorena) of Warsaw and Rachel Hartman (Jacob) of Winterville, GA; her sisters, Lynn Smith (James) of Beverly Hills, FL, Cindy Woods (late Roger) of Elkhart and Connie Jacober (Fred) of Genoa, IL; and her grandchildren, Natalie, Nathaniel Oplinger, Aiden and Brinley Hartman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in care of Josh and Candace Gleason.
