He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Neely and Lela Mae Neely (Pruitt); his son Allen Neely Jr.; and his brothers, Robert Neely Jr., Marlon Neely and Tyrone Garner.

He is survived by: his fiancée Carolyn Mast; his children, Jeremy Neely (Lindsay), Tasha Neely-Stott (William Stott) and Alecia Neely; his grandchildren, Alexis, Emmitt Neely, Gemon and Sha'mya Bradford; and his siblings, Troy Neely (Sharon), Eric Neely, Michael Neely, Clyde Garner and Angela Neely. He is also survived by other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
