He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard Riley and Agnes Arlene Smith (Heitz); his brothers, John and Robert; and his son Donald Peck.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Sue Yoder; his children, Jackie Walton, Jr. Riley (Tina), Kim Owens (David), Jim Simpson (Michelle) and Harold Simpson; and his siblings, Linda Singleton (Charles), Larry Riley (Karen) and George Riley (Jeanne). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
