With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Wayne Burgdoerfer of Glenwood, Indiana, born in Rushville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 13, 2024 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his niece Heather Burgdoerfer; his sister-in-law Debbie Burgdoerfer; and his mother-in-law Junie Groce. He is survived by: his son Richard C. Burgdoerfer of Glenwood; his grandchildren, Blakely Burgdoerfer, Brandon Burgdoerfer, Lauryn Breneman (Zach) and Bo Burgdoerfer; his great grandchildren, Cash Burgdoerfer and Hudsyn Burgdoerfer; his brother Ed Burgdoerfer; his siblings-in-law, Bob Groce and Jenny Groce; his nieces and nephews, Ed Burgdoerfer, Lisa Burgdoerfer-Ailes, Amy Bare, Tim Groce, Jacob Groce and Amanda Gilley (Steve); and his brother Merle Seeley. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Robbins Funeral Home (1704 N Grand Ave, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
