He was predeceased by: his siblings, Irene Deal, Arleta Mathews, Rosaleen Wright, Iola Stewart and Wesley McRae.

He is survived by: his wife Georgia McRae (Schriefer); his sons, Lee McRae of Evansville and Noel McRae (Robin) of Georgetown, Indiana; his grandchildren, Alex McRae, Erin McRae-Stoops, Brent McRae and Gus McRae; and his sister Marcialea Wasson.
