He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Bierly and Patricia Bowman Bierly; and his siblings, Dale Bierly and Michelle Ireland. He is survived by: his aunt Jann Bowman; his cousins, Karen Sheckell, Kevin Reed (Linda) and Donita Gould (George); and his brother-in-law Lance Ireland.

The family requests memorial donations be sent to Christ United Methodist Church in Georgetown, Indiana.
