He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Payton and Lorraine Rose Payton; and his siblings, Gerald S. Payton and Joye B. Payton-Washer. He is survived by: his siblings, Ronnie of Greenville, IN, Donnie Payton (Connie) of Greenville, IN, Percilla Spurgeon of Corydon, IN, Brenda Carpenter (Charlie) of Milltown, IN, Devona Payne (Warren) of Ramsey, IN and Reba Tuell (Ronnie) of Georgetown, IN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
