She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bedan and Charity Bedan (Gresham); her sister Evelyn Bedan; her aunt Norma Gresham; and her brother-in-law Maurice Pendleton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Deneen Bogdon (Steve) and Tonja Sunderhaus; her grandchildren, Jeremy Schneider, Nicole Thompson (Chase), Kelsea Mays (Matt) and Cody Sunderhaus; her great grandchildren, Sawyer Mays and Zayne Thompson; her sister Carolyn Pendleton; her niece Sandra Breit (Christi); and her nephews, Carl Pendleton (Leisa) and Steven Pendleton (Harmony).

Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations in Phyllis' name to a charity for breast cancer.
