She was predeceased by: her father Archie Guy Mink; her husband Robert L. Benson; her daughter Melody Benson; her grandson Bobby Stepro; and her close friend Ralph Leathers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Coddington, Connie King (Dean) and Teresa Byers; her grandchildren, Sasha Pearce, Michael Coddington II, Valerie Hinkle, Daniel Martin, Bryan Benson and Kristy Receveur; and her sister Betty Peterson. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
