She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Tenneyson and Berti Dean (Parks); her husband Charles Edward Wells; her brother Richard Deen; and her great grandchildren, Derek Thacker and Marilyn Thacker.

She is survived by: her children, Barry Wells (Tammy) of Hardinsburg, Wilma Thacker (Gary) of Paoli and Linda Wells Freiberger (Lane) of Greenville; her brother Jerome Byerly (Stephanie) of Milltown; her grandchildren, Holly Thacker, Desiree Freiberger, Lorne Freiberger, Andrew Cox, Jaden Cox, Collin Cox and Yvonne Cox; and her great grandchildren, Keaton Thacker, Bradley Freiberger and Raelynn Higdon.
