With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loren H. Nelson (Georgetown, Indiana), who passed away on October 21, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Nelson and Marie Stockwell Nelson; his son Donald Waltman; and his granddaughter Kaitlyn Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, Scott Nelson of New Salisbury, Daniel Waltman (Martha) of Corydon, Larry Waltman of Scottsburg, Melanie Nelson-Payne (Jeff) of Algona, Pamela Riehle (Larry) of Crandall and Nicole Boone (Jonathan) of Corydon; and his sister Charie Rakes (Jim) of Lanesville. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
