He is survived by: his wife Deborah Louise Jamison Garrett; his children, Carrie Marie Dorton of Louisville, Jenny Marie Hooker of Louisville and Lonnie Dale Garrett, Jr. of Louisville; his siblings, Elbert Garrett and Angela Garrett (Gary) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Thomas Michael Dorton, Eric Bradley Brown, Savannah Louise Dorton, Jayda Elizabeth Shawn Hooker and Alivia Dorton; and his great grandchild Paisley Rose Dorton.
